As indie filmmakers, we are leading with impact behind the scenes as well as after the credits.

This is our primary statement of value. Because we know something has to change in the creative industries, and if you can’t find it elsewhere, you have to make it yourself.

Diversity, in front of and behind the camera, comes with a focus on women and underrepresented stories — both of whom we prioritize in hiring. Behind the scenes, we’re committed to planet-friendly product use and product placement.

Equity for our cast and crew means we work as most favored nations, meaning people of similar responsibility-levels are paid equally. And nobody works for free. All cast and crew who work a minimum number of days will be eligible to join the profit participation pool, thus giving our creative collaborators their fair share of the profits.

Transparency means we’re up-front with our investors and team about how we work, and how much money we’ve raised. We won’t collect pledges until we’ve reached our shooting budget. We are committed to keeping you in-the-know about our finances, through the entire distribution process, too.

We believe our values-centered approach still gives investors the traditional prospect of financial upside and back-end participation, in addition to the guarantee of meaningful creative access and legacy through social impact with a values-aligned team.

The unique vision of Los Ageless is to cast nostalgic and beloved older actors with young, fresh faces we haven’t seen before.

Our primary family — grandmother, granddaughter, grandson, and estranged son — will be Latinx and Indigenous.

We’ve brought on casting director Candido Cornejo, Jr. to help bring this vision to life.

Innovative Casting

Unlike most independent films, we’re not hanging our distribution strategy on a great festival premiere and winning the lottery.

Our budget and strategy include building an audience as we make the film, gathering impact partners, and managing our own theatrical run to build momentum and recoupment before a distributor even gets involved.

Integrated Distribution
